The solos and band competitions are held in accordance with the Western
United States Pipe Band Assoc., including the tune submission requirements
for all events. A WUSPBA representative will determine eligibility for all
events. Contact a WUSPBA representative for all competition rules and
requirements. Field events may be accepted at the discretion of the
committee and a late fee will be charged.

Drumming Clinic, August 7, 2010 with Instructor Ed Best
Please join Ed Best for a special free (with gate admission) clinic on Saturday, August 7th immediately following the solo drumming competition. The material to be covered will include; tips and tricks for a beginning drummer, concepts for the intermediate drummer, teaching ideas for your difficult to reach students. Also included will be tenor and bass tuning and playing theory, and general ideas for getting a grade 4 or 5 drum section up and running with a nuts and bolts approach that considers the big picture. Please bring lots of questions with you.
